About APT .RED
Meet the APT .RED team. Decades of combined experience in enterprise physical security integration, consulting, and managed support services for access control and video surveillance.
Our Story
APT .RED was founded by Gary Lane with a clear conviction: enterprise security is too important to leave to generalists. Organizations whose reputations and people depend on reliable security infrastructure deserve a partner with deep technical expertise, transparent communication, and an uncompromising commitment to getting it right.
That conviction has guided every engagement since. From single-building access control deployments to multi-site enterprise integrations spanning hundreds of cameras and thousands of credential holders, APT .RED approaches every project with the same rigor and attention to detail.
Over the years, we’ve built lasting partnerships with some of the country’s most security-conscious organizations—not by making promises, but by consistently delivering results and communicating openly throughout the process.
What We Believe
Security is a trust business.
Our clients trust us with the safety of their people and the protection of their assets. We earn that trust through technical competence, transparent communication, and doing what we say we’ll do.
Integration matters more than installation.
Anyone can mount a camera or program a reader. The real value is in making complex systems work together reliably—access control, video, intrusion detection, and monitoring—across multiple facilities and vendor platforms.
Security infrastructure deserves ongoing care.
A system is only as good as its maintenance. That’s why we developed NeoLert—our proprietary support services platform—to provide continuous monitoring, proactive maintenance, and rapid response for every system we deploy.
Our own security posture reflects our standards.
We practice what we preach. Our internal infrastructure runs on hardened, zero-trust architecture including IP allow-listing, mutual TLS authentication, Microsoft Entra identity management, and mandatory multi-factor authentication.
