Video Surveillance


Bosch (now IQSIGHT for video systems) cameras are built with Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA Pro) as a standard feature—delivering edge-based AI analytics that process video at the camera, reducing bandwidth and server load while enabling intelligent motion detection, object classification, crowd formation detection, and behavioral analysis.
This edge intelligence approach means security teams receive meaningful alerts rather than being overwhelmed by raw motion events. Cameras distinguish between a person, a vehicle, and an animal. They detect objects left behind or removed. They track directional movement and dwell time. All of this processing happens at the edge, before video ever reaches the network.
Bosch cameras integrate natively with Milestone XProtect and other leading VMS platforms, giving organizations flexibility in their video management architecture. For Bosch-only environments, Bosch’s own BVMS provides centralized management for large-scale deployments.

Camera Selection & Deployment


Choosing the right camera for each position isn’t a spec sheet exercise. It’s a site-specific engineering decision that depends on field of view requirements, lighting conditions, mounting height and angle, network bandwidth constraints, and what the camera actually needs to do — detect, classify, identify, or recognize.
APT .RED deploys Bosch cameras across the full product range based on application requirements:
Fixed cameras for corridor monitoring, entry/exit points, and areas with defined fields of view where consistent coverage matters more than flexibility. IVA Pro analytics run at the edge on every fixed camera, delivering intelligent alerts without additional server load.
PTZ cameras for large open areas — parking structures, loading docks, plazas, and lobby overviews — where operators need the ability to track activity across wide areas and zoom to detail on demand. Bosch PTZ models maintain AI analytics even while the camera is in motion.
Panoramic cameras for full-room or intersection coverage from a single mounting point, reducing camera count and simplifying installation in spaces where multiple fixed cameras would otherwise be required.
Specialty models for challenging environments — low-light corridors, exterior perimeters with wide temperature swings, or high-vibration mounting locations near mechanical equipment.
Every camera position is planned during the system design phase — not improvised during installation. We produce camera placement drawings with field-of-view overlays, specify mounting hardware and cable paths, calculate storage and bandwidth requirements per camera, and verify that each position meets the operational objective before equipment is ordered.
